EKONOMİ EĞİTİMİNİN SOSYAL VE POLİTİK DEĞERLER ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Çoksayıda çalışma, iktisat ve işletme eğitiminin diğer disiplinlere göre insanlarıdaha bencil yaptığını bulmuşlardır. Özellikle küresel finansal kriz, iktisat veişletme eğitiminin sosyal ve politik değerler üzerinde olumsuz etkilerininolduğu hakkında ciddi endişelere yol açmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, iktisat veişletme eğitiminin sosyal ve politik değer, inanç ve tutumlar üzerinde biretkisinin olup olmadığını incelemektir. Bu çalışmada, iktisat ve işletmeçalışmanın etkilerini analiz etmek için bir anket çalışması tasarlandı. Anket,Kütahya’daki Dumlupınar üniversitesindeki beş farklı bölümünde öğrenim gören435 öğrenciye uygulanan bazı sorular içermektedir: iktisat, işletme, uygulamalıbilimler, sosyıoloji ve ilahiyat. Çalışma, sonuç olarak, ekonomi bölümleri ilediğerleri arasında bazı anlamlı farklılıklara ulaşmıştır.

Manystudies have found that education of economics and management makes people moreselfish than other disciplines. Especially, the global financial crisis hasraised serious concerns about that economics and mangement studying hasnegative effects on social and political values. The aim of paper is to examinewhether or not education of economics and management has an effect on socialand political values, believes and attitudes. In the paper, it was designed asurvey to analyse social and political effects of economics and managementstudying. The survey includes some questions with 435 students from fivedifferent departments at Dumlupınar University in Kutahya: Economics, businessadministratinon, applied sciences, sociology and theology. As a result, thepaper has reached some significant differences between economy deparments andothers.
