This work focuses on the development of the generalized averaged models of parallel active filter (PAF). The method adopted to achieve this is the generalized state space averaging (GSSA) method. The non- linearity of the system is removed by using this method. The relation between the state variables of the system is expressed by linear equations. An exact and fast approximation of the system parameters is achieved. By this method, non-linearity of real elements causes many problems such as long execution time, divergence, and huge produced files do not exist. In addition, the results of the simulations of the GSSA models are compared with real-time simulation results, which are done in the PSIM software.
