EGE BÖLGESİ’NDE BULUNAN MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULLARININ DURUM ANALİZİ: SORUNLAR VE ÇÖZÜM ÖNERİLERİ

Abstract

The quality and the frame of education at vocational schools, which train qualified employee needed in the various sectors contributing to the economic development of the countries, have changed in many years. Nowadays, the function and structure of vocational schools are still issues of conflict. The determination of the existing problems in these schools is very important in terms of improving the quality of education and scientific research and training the qualified manpower. In this study, the current situation of vocational schools in the Aegean region has been analyzed comparatively taking into account the program profiles, the structure of instructor, the relations with regional and economic development. And in this regard, it has been determined the present problems and offered various solutions

Ülkelerin ekonomik gelişimine katkı sağlayan çeşitli sektörlerin ihtiyacı olan kalifiye eleman yetiştiren meslek yüksekokullarında verilen eğitimin kalitesi ve çerçevesi seneler içerisinde değişim göstermiştir. Meslek yüksekokullarının işlevi ve yapısı günümüzde hala tartışma konusudur. Bu kurumlarda mevcut sıkıntıların belirlenerek ortaya konulması, eğitim-öğretim ve bilimsel araştırma kalitesinin arttırılması ve nitelikli insan gücünün yetiştirilmesi açısından oldukça önemlidir. Yapılan bu çalışmada, Ege Bölgesi’nde bulunan meslek yüksekokullarının mevcut durumları; program profilleri, öğretim elemanı yapısı, meslek yüksekokulunun bölgesel ve ekonomik yapıyla ilişkileri dikkate alınarak karşılaştırmalı olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Bu bağlamda mevcut sorunlar belirlenerek, bu sorunlara çeşitli çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir
