MALZEME VE MALZEME İŞLEME TEKNOLOJİLERİ PROGRAMINDA “KOROZYON VE KOROZYONA DAYANIKLI MALZEMELER” DERSİNİN ZORUNLU OLARAK OKUTULMASI

Abstract

Gelişen teknolojiyle metal kullanımında meydana gelen artış beraberinde korozyon sorununu ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Korozyon, metal veya metal alaşımlarının kimyasal veya elektrokimyasal reaksiyonlar sonucunda bulunduğu ortam şartlarında bozulmasıdır. Korozyon eğitimi, içinde malzeme barındıran tüm bölümleri ilgilendiren bir konudur. Bu çalışmanın amacı Malzeme ve Malzeme İşleme Teknolojileri bölüm başkanlığına bağlı tüm programlarda korozyon biliminin önemini ortaya koyan “Korozyon ve Korozyona Dayanıklı Malzeme Teknolojisi” dersinin önemini tartışmak ve uygun bir ders içeriği önermektir

Corrosion has become a main problem due to the rise in the use of metal with the developing technology. Corrosion is the degradation of metal or metal alloys as a result of chemical or electrochemical reactions. Corrosion education is a matter of concern for all material types. The aim of this study is to demonstrate and discuss the importance of “Corrosion and Corrosion Materials Technology Course” indicating the importance of corrosion science and taught in all programs under the Department of Materials and Material Processing Technologies and to recommend a suitable course content
