DAKTİLO EĞİTİMİNİN TÜRKİYE’DEKİ SERÜVENİ KAPSAMINDA BİR KAYNAK ESER İNCELEMESİ: DAKTİLOGRAFİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, son dönem Osmanlı’daki kayıtlar ve kitaplardan başlamak ve M.Hamid’in kitabını merkeze almak suretiyle, Cumhuriyet dönemi boyunca eğitimsistemi ve iş hayatı açısından daktilo ve daktilo eğitiminin serüveni ele alınmaktave bu konuda 1928 tarihinde yayımlanan bir kaynak eser incelenmektedir.Çalışmanın odak noktasını teşkil eden bu kaynak eser, Ticaret Mekteb-i Âlîsidaktilografi muallimi M. Hamid tarafından 1928 yılında yayımlanan“Daktilografi” kitabıdır. Kitapta, ticaret ve büro yönetimi sahalarında gerekli olankayıt tutma işlemleri ve ticari yazışmalar için daktilo öğretiminin gerekliliği önesürülmektedir. Kitaptan yaralananların, kendi kendilerine daktilo kullanmayıöğrenebilmeleri için teorik, pratik ve teknik bilgilere yer verilmektedir. Ayrıca odönemde çalışma yaşamında olan kadınlar için daktilografi eğitiminin gerekliolduğu vurgulanmaktadır.

The study focuses on the adventure of typewriter and typist education in terms of education system and the business life throughout the Republican era, starting with the records and books in the last period of Ottoman and centering the book of M. Hamid. The emphasis of this study is the book titled “Daktilografi” (Typewriting), published in 1928 by M. Hamid who was teacher of typewriting at the School of Commerce. In the book, it’s suggested that typewriter education is required for record keeping and commercial correspondences required in the fields of commerce and office management. The book provides theoretical, practical and technical information to learn how to use the typewriter on their own. In addition, it is emphasized that typewriter education was necessary for working women at that time.
